Potter's Role

Former manager the Danish coach lost his job following Sweden's 1-0 loss to the Kosovan team in mid-October, an outcome that made direct progression from their World Cup group unattainable

Sweden are currently bottom of Group B having only a single point from four matches

Even if they fail to claim the runner-up spot, there remains a chance they might participate in the qualification playoffs because thanks to their showing during the previous UEFA competition
